Balkan Buro invites Southeast European filmmakers and video artists to react to our proposed theme: the Creative States of Southeast Europe.
Eligible participants are filmmakers and video artists aged 16 to 35, from/based in Southeastern Europe, or with a strong affiliation to the region: Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia.
Submit your short-film entry to this competition and get a chance at one of the 3 final prizes of 500 euro each for Documentary, Fiction and Animation shorts. Finalists will be featured at the Balkan Snapshots Festival in May 2012 in Amsterdam – live and in person!

NOTE: The deadline for the Balkan Snapshots open call has been extended, as the festival was moved from October 2011 to May 2012. Filmmakers who already sent in their short film are of course still running in the competition.
