This year’s international film festival TAPEworm will take place on Saturday, 19th November 2011, in the Music School in Cerkno. Films shown during the festival will be selected by our pre-selection panel. The names of the panel members will be publishedon www.trakulja.si and on www.kudcerkno.si.

Eventhough films of all genres are accepted, comedies are preferred. Moreover, considering the fact that this is an amateur film festival the panel will focus on the idea of the film itself and not on its technical performance.

The main purpose of the international film festival TAPEworm is to promote comedy production in Slovenia and in Europe. Not many comedy script writersare known in Slovenia, however, we believe that numerous talents are still undiscovered. Therefore, this film festival is a great opportunity for themto revealtheir talentand to promote amateur as well as professional comedy production.

In order to participate in the festival, films need to be:

• amateurnot full-length
• preselected by the panelsent by the postmark deadline set by the organizer (10th November)
• English subtitles are preferred.
